Texican Outdoors – Free-Range Aoudad Hunts
Experience a true West Texas adventure with Texican Outdoors. Our free-range Aoudad (Barbary sheep) hunts take place in the rugged Trans-Pecos region along the Pecos River—prime habitat with a thriving population of mature rams measuring 30”–37”. We offer limited exclusive hunts per year to ensure the long-term health of our trophy-class rams (9+ years old). Hunting seasons run in September, October, and January through April.
This is a challenging, rewarding hunt set in some of the most dramatic and remote terrain Texas has to offer. Expect long-distance shot opportunities of 250–500 yards, steep canyons, and wide-open desert country. Physical readiness, determination, and a love for adventure are essential.
